PANTLING STUDIO was founded in 2010 by artist-photographer Simon Pantling and filmmaker Liz Cassidy Pantling.
Pantling Studio is currently exhibiting a collection of limited-edition prints by Simon Pantling. The drawings focus on historical journeys in and around the Mancunian Way Flyover. The compositions are formal and symmetrical, employing the language of architectural drawing to reflect both the original concepts of urban planning and the current realities. The drawings are not documentary; instead, they illustrate the evolution and transformation of urban spaces, highlighting the paradox of the modern urban landscape.
Simon Pantling studied fine art at the Slade School of Art, London and Manchester Metropolitan University.
